The BAFTA's 2013 were awarded last night, and it just deserved a blog. I had hoped to see a few more movies actually of the BAFTA's nominees, but hardly succeeded due to not enough time or simply because the movies aren't shown here in the theaters yet. I'm desperate to see 'Silver Linings Playbook', 'Life of Pi' and 'Anna Karenina'. The first one is still not out here in cinema, the latter two are, but unfortunately I still haven't seen them (Anyone in for movies any time soon?). And now that I know that all three actually won BAFTA's, I want to see them even more desperately. I did see 'Les Misérables' (Review
here) though, and I have to say the awards are more than deserved!
Besides the actual awards, I always love to browse through pictures of arrivals afterwards to have a look at all the dresses that were worn for the show. Show let's talk fashion, shall we? Here are a few of my favourites. Any personal favorites of any of you?
Jennifer Lawrence - Dior
Natalie Dormer - Nicholas Oakwell Couture
Anne Hathaway - Burberry
Juno Temple - Stella McCartney
Helena Bonham Carter - 50's dress
I love Natalie Dormer simple and the colour goes really well with her skin :)
ReplyDeleteI couldn't even decide who's prettiest!
ReplyDeleteThanks a bunch for your lovely comment!
Have a great day,

I love watching award shows! I missed this one because I was watching The Grammys. I haven't seen any of the movies you listed but all my friends have told me that Silver Linings Playbook is amazing so I want to see that one!
ReplyDeleteLovely outfits! I didn't watch the show. I did see Silver Linings Playbook and Life of Pi already. Both great movies.
ReplyDeleteI think it's too bad Jennifer didn't win the award she was nominated for!
Ik wil ook heel graag Anna Karenina zien en Silver linings playbook, hoewel ik van die laatste niet eens weet waar die over gaat, maar ik vind Jennifer Lawrence zo leuk :)
ReplyDeleteI watched the BAFTAs on TV. :) I thought Jennifer looked beautiful and still love Anne's haircut. I still really want to see Silver Linings Playbook and Anna Karenina.
